How Many Guests At Your Destination Wedding?

Thu Jul 05, 2012 2:25 am

How many guests have you invited to your destination wedding? We love the idea of having an intimate wedding and have only invited our immediate families.

We have invited 13 Adults and 2 Kids and have 9 Adults confirmed, including Us.

Are you eloping or having an intimate wedding, or have you invited lots of guests? Are you expecting most to come?

We are getting married at Daydream Island in a little over a months time and invited 40 guests. We have 24 guests coming. Can't wait to celebrate with my nearest and dearest

We wanted a small wedding too...but our families ended up having a say on the invite list, and by the time invites went out, there were 65 on the list.

We had 22 attend, which was just what we wanted :D

Not sure how many will be able to come. Will invite 39-40 guests, expect 25 guests. We will give them plenty of time so hopefully most can make it (Santorini wedding).

We wanted a small wedding but it is already looking like we will have about 100. Maybe more. I am hoping to keep it at no more than 100 - we were not planning on so many people wanting to come or on FFIL inviting everyone he speaks to, haha.

This is so hard! We want to keep the numbers closer to 50 but because we're getting married in the Philippines and most of my family and friends are there, I can't get away from not inviting them. We can't afford a wedding with 100 guests!!! I'm hoping that by having it in Boracay and that they will have to pay for flights and accoms, a lot of them will decline. But it's a big risk because they have until 2014 to save up for it.

Should I just invite them late so they don't have enough time to save up? Is that rude?
