everyone keep your fingers crossed for good weather - I have my FH's uncle's wedding on Sat Feb 6 which is the anniversary of Black Saturday (last year it was almost 50 degrees in Melbourne)

I'm in Melbourne but getting married in Magnetic Island. Are you doing yours on the Sunday then or the Friday?
Haven't really organised too much yet. Booked our reception/ceremony & paid our deposit for it. Our STD's are on the way (we're just using Magnetic Island postcards which are currently in transit, can't wait to get them and get started!). But that's about it. My FH thinks it's too early to be doing anything yet and I should wait until 12 months out. I've tried to convince him that it's not and to let me start doing things, I'm wearing him down so it wont be too much longer until I can get stuck into it! I think he's worried about me changing my mind a million times!! I have asked my MOH and bridesmaid and pretty much picked out a dress for them, they just haven't tried any on or anything yet! Will probably get my dress and theirs through duosheng (have one on the way from them for my sister's wedding in March, I'll see how that is before I decide)
What about you, have you organised much yet?

I wanted to use postcards for our STD's (originally for the e-party invites, then STD's - from france though, thats where we got engaged) but it hasn't worked out! ohwell....i should be making my STD's this month, but haven't done anything to them yet.

FH's are silly sometimes - the earlier you book things, the more likely you are of getting what you want, then you don't have to think about it any more!! we've done most of the big things, and doing more next week when we're in margaret river for a holiday i've been dress shopping, although i'm terrible and keep thinking that if i buy a dress now, something better will come along...or that i want to wear black!

I'm hoping to get started on my STD's within the next couple of weeks, just have to wait until they get posted down!

I'm definitely wearing him down, the last thing I want to do is stress about organising things when it gets close to the wedding! Plus I pretty much know what I want and wont be happy if I can't get it! I'll prob leave it for a month or so (let him think he's won!!) then just start up again. He'll give in then I'm sure!!
I'm so tempted to go dress shopping but I know that I definitely will change my mind, even when I just look online I change my mind every time!! Plus I want to lose some weight first!!
