What kind of things does she like doing?

For a kitchen tea, things that pop to mind are:

- High tea
- Recipe sharing
- Tupperware party
- Pampering session
- Old fashioned games
- Afternoon cocktails
- Art class/craft class

Hopefully that has given you some food for thought!
Can't wait to hear other suggestions and also to see what you decide upon!

Good luck!

I've organized one in the past that was a pink theme. The bride lost her mum to breast cancer so she wanted to raise money for the breast cancer foundation so we had pink everything and in leiu of presents had a wishing well that went all to the charity.

I've been to a couple of cracker bridal showers but by far the best themed one was a pajama party! Everyone was in pajamas, there were cushions everywhere and all sorts of sleepover foods. It was a load of fun.

High tea or a wine and cheese arvo are really fun as well.

This reminds me of the scene in Suddenly 30 where Jennifer Garner hosts all the young girls in her apt. building and they are singing Pat Benatar! I think it would be so much fun!!

haha i couldnt agree more!! it reminded me of that too :) I love all of your ideas ladies! I think I'm going to go with the theme winter wonderland. She loves white and silver so I thought that would be a great way to incorporate the two. HOORAY! one less thing to think about

I had my high tea Bridal Shower a few weeks ago!! We had it catered- think three tier stand with mini everything. Flowers, fine china plates, all wearing dresses and heels, paper pom poms for decorations, it was a great afternoon.

We played some fun games- trivia quizzes, pash the poster, marshmallow towers, guessing competitions.

Oh! They sound like fun games! How do you play them? I need ideas for those too :)
