I just rang Chantilly Weddings about my dress as it is supposed to be here this month. The lady seemed so daft, and after not getting my name correct, wrong receipt and I from the questions she was asking, had NFI where my order was or what it was for, she then ended the convo with I'll give you a call when it's in. WTF that didn't answer my question. Anyone bought their dress from Chantilly Weddings, that can reassure me that it may be an off day. I know the wedding isn't for 5 months, but I want to make sure my dress is ordered and is in town.

Hmnn... we were goin to, but ended up going through Brisbane, PinkLilli.

Are they even open today? (I thought they were closed Mondays)

I found that woman to be extremely pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable, is there only one lady that works there?

Hope it turns out ok.

Well today my plan of attack is to go to all the printing places and see if at least i can get the invites printed for a good price and if we have to we will assemble them. I just hate the whole setting them up on the computer so that when you fold them and what not things are sitting the right places.
The next thing will be then to organize a mock up day at Gipps so i can see how my flowers, decorator and venue all are going too look on the day just to ease my mind and see if we need to cut back or add things

How did you go MissTmba with printing prices? I'm thinking of using office works to print my OOS fans (as I want colours and B&W), and my home printer for the invites which will be B&W. My Mum is pretty handy with formatting things, so she is helping set up templates for me.

Tea, those invites are great, Yah Green Wedding's sister.

Dress update: My mum went in to the shop today and used her Mumazilla voice, and it turns out the lady has located my order and it's in Bris so should be here on Friday! Very Happy. Must have caught her on a bad day, still no excuse, but all is forgiven now that I know it is so close. Think I may store it at my Mum's place when I get it though, just in case

Yes i am going with spot color because they are at least $100 cheaper than cracker printing and i have saved $250 on sport colors original quote just by assembling them myself So i think the invites are finally sorted

I can highly recommend Sandy Perkins. She did both our wedding ceremony and our son's naming day and she was FANTASTIC. Had so many comments on how brilliant she was.

I totally agree with you Miss Tmba, Spot Colour is so much cheaper than Cracker.
I got my invitations done through Kardella.com.au but I still need my place cards done. I went into Cracker and they quoted $2 each for 60. When I rang Spot Colour they were only 80c each. I don't understand how there can be such a big price difference for plain white place cards.

I went to Cracker print & Paper this morning and again didn't get served, even though one of the ladies was right next to me, she prentended not to see me. So I have joined the masses and went back to Spot Colour, at least 30c p/sheet cheaper, so I bought all my paper and card from there. Go Spot Colour!!

HAHAHA Well 2 times ago i didn't get served so before i went on Tuesday i rung as said i would like to book a appointment and they said you don't have to. I said well i thought you would have to because of the lack of service i assumed you would have to get one. So i made her promise me i will get served when i went in and i didn't have many problems then ! BUT STILL SPOT COLOR IS THE WAY TO GO. With service and price being good for me !

Spot colour is at 6 Robertson Street Tmba. Its in the same street as Spotlight's carpark, but down near the lane near Autobarn.
