Your turn next Taralee........so excited for you!

I am wandering around the house trying to figure out what to do now that the wedding is all over! Still need to do my photobooks and thank you cards but am avoiding those tasks.

For those who are interested - I've put my pro shots up in my show n tell. We also did a trash the dress with Roy and have put those up too.

I Actually work there! God i hope it wasn't me that wasn't too helpful! I usually go out of my way for Brides cause i know what its like. The problem is that our managers wont allow us to guarantee early arrivals and things of the like, cause while we can do it the majority of the time, sometimes we just can't and it ends up being a big mess.
Unsurprisingly they were great for me, mostly cause i know almost all staff members. If it is anything i might be able to help with let me know!

Oh I didn't know you worked there!  Yeah they won't allow an early check in. I'm really annoyed as the only reason I booked the room is cos our photographer likes taking photos of the bride getting ready there. So if we get there at 2pm its kinda pointless. So I'll probably have to wait till I'm finished with make up and call them at midday and it they won't let me check in I'll have to cancel the room and hope that I can get another room at a different hotel. Hmm maybe I might just have to cancel it totally and go with another place :? I did kinda think that being a wedding they would let me.

What i suggest to most brides is to ring the hotel as soon as you wake up. What we do is put in our system that you want to check in and we let the housekeepers know, in turn it is the first room that they allocate the housekeepers to clean. 9 times out of 10 we have the room ready by about 10 or 11, but its that one time that stops us from guaranteeing the early check in. If you specifically ask for an early checkin the latest we usually have the room ready is about 1.

So yeah, i know that's not really helpful, buti hope it helped anyway :)

Seagulls - Greg for reception! Beautiful food. Our honeymoon suite was nice (frangipanni)_ could be "modernised" but it was clean & comfy, mainly wanted the spa really!! LOL the rest of the family accom was a bit on the drab side & a bit $$ for the qulaity of the rooms - i agree with someone else- they should offer a disc for wedding guests!
hmm was a ahile ago! LOL
Pooles of music - really good & the made a cd with all "our songs" on it & put our names etc onit
janines cakes- Yes it was a bit $$ but it tasted ssssooooooooo good & looked perfect!
Thrifty Chrysler hire
Allgoods for my beautiful Claudia Mancini dress - looks ugly on the rack GORGEOUS on!!
Cerrie from MOon for hair,
Nada from Radiant Beauty for makeup & massages!!
Shore Dr motel (most of their rooms are ugly & didgy up the back BUT they have renovated the front ones - I had the 2 bed apartment to sleep my 4 bms & me & there was ampl eroom to get ready & we were running late & they didnt get up us to leave- the lovely cleaners stayed back waiting for us!
Hmmm Thats all I can think of for now
Celebrant amanda medil - she is very lovely to talk to but when she spoke thru the ceremony she paused alot - was a bit weird but was still a lovely ceremony & got our point across.

Hi Ladies,

I'm getting married in Townsville May 1st next year :)

Could anyone recommend accommadation for the night before the wedding and to get ready. FH is staying at the Casino and we will stay there on the wedding night also, but I wanted to stay somewhere different to him???? Any ideas?
