geeze that scared me. Not being able to continue on the old forum. Hope everyone finds this again.
Anyway I have a question. I recently spoke to a driver of the cars we're hiring and he said he didn't like using the car bows that scratch the car. But I'm not too sure which ones these are.
I have the plastic ribbon pull bows but not sure how to attach them to the car as the ribbon that comes out is quite thin and looks like it may snap easily.

Yeppoon Hairdresser

Sat Aug 22, 2009 2:59 pm

Oooh - lucky this was at the top of the forum pages or I may have missed it!!

Wondering if anyone can recommend a hairdresser or 2 in Yeppoon? We're having our ceremony out at rydges, am I'm thinking it would be easiest to find a decent salon out that way - but I'm pretty picky when it comes to my hair (I went through about 5 hairdressers when we moved here before I found one that would do my hair exactly the way I like it) - so I'm wanting to try out a couple of places well in advance of the big day to see if I can find someone who is just as good. Any suggestions girls?

I've heard good things about wavelengths.

Also whoever it was that was looking for hair slides, she's all that have some sparkly new ones in between 20 and 30 dollars. Saw them today when I was out shopping

Hi lilithgirl,

It maybe a good idea to ring and ask him which bows his talking about because I wouldn't imagine a bow (either fabric or plastic) would scratch a car. He may also know how to attach them. I thought they just tied to the bonnet latch.

I'm doing a happy dance. Just got the menu for Coco's at seaspray. Exactly same price when he was Michaels on Matthew Flinders and same menu too! It also included the drink price list. I think Coco's is in number one place for me

Me too Steph! We went and looked at Goldston House today for our ceremony and fell in love! I just need to ring and check with the decorating company that I can remove the ceremony from the qoute and then will confirm with Goldston House. Looks like my princess garden wedding is coming together. :D

Goldston House is amazing and Deborah is so nice and helpful.

Looks like Coco's is shaping up to be great since Michael took over, I would imagine that all the teething problems they were having will be well and truely over with him at the helm.

For hairdressers at the coast there is also Cap Coast Weddings - they come to you and will do both hair and makeup. Ph Natasha 0400343906 or Hollie 0438771062. (They have a 1/2 price trial voucher in the Bridal Dreams Bag - PM me if you want to arrange to get one, there are only a few left).

I just had to share... how surreal is this... I found a dress on the duoshong website that I really liked the look of - it was up there as number 1 or 2 to try and find and try on... well turns out its a Maggie Sottero - and the name of the dress is mine! Spelt exactly the same and everything... how bizarre... but perhaps that's the dress meant for me??? 8)

Still blown away that I found it elsewhere and just stumbled on it by chance on the MS site!

Thanks everyone... still got to try it on yet though! There's about 3 or 4 that I have on top of my list so far... I like the royale version too, but off the shoulder dresses dont tend to suit me - that said, I've heard plenty of people say the same thing, and then end up with stunning OTS gowns, so who knows... I love the idea of being able to add a bit of colour to the dress - if I do go with the MS, I reckon I'll try and get the sash in a dark red/burgundy to match the colour scheme I seem to heading towards :)

planning on a trip to Brisbane or Melbourne... one of my BMs (well hopefully I haven't asked yet!) lives in melb - she's getting married in January - so hoping to launch on her doorstep for a few days and go dress hunting at some stage. Planning on trying on some here in Rocky too though, just so I can get an idea of what styles suit me etc.

Hi girls, just a quick question. I have now decided to have little letter cake toppers (Metal or Wooden). Does anyone know where I can get nice ones in Rocky?? Sorry for the random post, but I have to get them today or tomorrow!!
