Yes, unless you have plenty of shade

Just wondering if anyone has hired the Leichhardt Rowing Clubs function room down on the river before?

Don't have a date planned out yet... but it was going to be in autumn sometime. So hopefully it would be cool enough then.

It just looks so pretty down there

I have looked at Blink's stuff before but it was a while ago. I didn't even know there was a rowing club house till a month ago. So if i have seen those photo's before, i didn't realise it was that place. Thankyou for posting them :)

Has anyone ever used Lickity Fingers or Hansen's Catering before.

Just wondering what their reputation is. I know Hansen's now does the Rocky Jockey Club, but I've never eaten there.

Lickitys makes the best macaroons! I like their menu as well, but have only had their desserts

I've looked at Lickity's website and was more impressed with it than with Hansen's
And their photos look really nice.

Anyways, if they make macaroons they must be good. Haven't mastered that skill yet.

Has anyone bought fake wedding flowers locally in rockhampton?

Im thinking of venturing down this path myself business wise and I am just wondering is there many other local businesses that do it? What have your experiences been with them? Any help would be appreciated.

Here are the ones I made for my wedding, what does everyone think?

Honest opinions please. Do you think these are good enough to sell?

We had our engagement party there. It was very cheap and had just about everything you could need there. We hired table cloths etc, and a baymare (sp?) and had a local shop do the catering, they just brought all the piping hot food to us at dinner time and we put in the server. But they had plenty of tables and chairs for the 80 guests we had, and they have a decent bar area, which you can have mobile bar caterers take care of. But we just had everyone BYO.

Did anyone go to the wedding expo over the weekend. I didn't see any advertising for it. Just wondering how it was.

My honest opinion: I wouldn't have known they were fake. They look real!

I'm finally officially engaged. YAY! Now to start planning.
I'm looking at holding my wedding reception at the Racecourse. Has anyone had a function there? Or has anyone had any experiences with Hansen's Catering.
