I'm actually getting married on Magnetic Island which is right off the coast of Townsville. Haven't got much to share yet, though give me time.....

Yeah, they are coordinating my wedding.
We'll be getting married at Alma Bay (though on the grassy area, not right on the beach). Reception at the Magnetic Island Tropical Resort.
Have you ever been to Maggie? We've been a few times - such a relaxed place!

well i have been there, but it was about 10 years ago so it doesnt really count. we are still not sure if we can get up there before or just wing it and pick a location when we get there a couple of days before the wedding

Hi again everyone,

Lovebug there are some really nice locations and venues here depending on what you want. Happy to help you out with info if you need any. I am doing everything at Seagulls and went to see them about 2 weeks ago for more information and to give them more details and they have been fabulous. I had a bit of trouble with the last event person they had there but Paully is great and really helpful. Now that everything is coming together I am getting really excited! It's still 4 and a bit months before we finally get hitched and I am already losing sleep because I am so excited!

Hope everyone's wedding plans are coming together.

Cheers,

Sandii

Thanks for the advice Sandii2 but we have just booked the reception. we are just going to the magnetic island tropical resort, it is a small wedding party and the balcony photos there looked really pretty also everyone will be staying in that area.

Hey lovebug! Have you chosen your celebrant yet? If so, who did you choose? We're having Father Phil Grier (we wanted a civil ceremony, but he was the cheapest option).
