Hi Sas, they are nice pics. Looks like everyone was having a good time. I actually asked this elsewhere also, it may sound like a silly question but is your dress ivory or how would you describe that? I am a little colour blind and am trying to picture now the difference between white, ivory and champagne!! Oh the drama. Hi Riesling seem to run in to you all the time round here!! Lovebug the weather up here at that time of the year is great. You would probably be looking at low 20's at night and high 20's through the day with less humidity than when it heats up.

Kyjane it is called Champagne rose so there is a hint of pink in the dress :) What colour are you thinking of going with?

Hi Sas, mine is ivory, being made at moment. Though cause I am a little colour blind with shades that are very close it is hard for me to distinguish between white and ivory and even champagne when it is next to ivory!! Am hoping that the gold that I am getting embroidered on it will look ok as most I have seen are silver.

Have not picked the celebrant yet, partner works out of town so have to try to tie it in with his busy schedule, but is on the to do list in the next month or so. Posted some picks of the dress in the what month you getting married section in April I think from memory. Who did you get to do your hair and makeup, that is the only real issue I am having up here, there isn't many good people to pick from.

Well I cna give you the number of the lady I got to do my hair (she lives in Calcium and has a salon out there). She came to my parents house on the day and did my hair and all the BM's hair and my mum's hair. She charged $50 each and she did an awesome job!

One of my BM's did our makeup. She has been taught by nutrimetics. She did an awesome job! I can ask her if she is interested if you like?

The flowers were so stunning Riesling! What kind are you having?

We'll be having roses. Apparently they specialise in them?

Our boys buttonholes were roses and they were great. We had cymbidium orchids and they were stunning. I'm sure their roses would be amazing as well :)

Just saw how close you are from the big day Lovebug and Riesling. OMG is the realisation starting to kick in yet??? I am so excited for you both. I booked our celebrant this week. Such a relief and also the photographer. BM found a good makeup artist whom she is liaising with at the moment, the lady we wanted can't do it, she has other commitments with daughter, get this, she airbrushes on the makeup, how cool is that, damn!!! Had to move ceremony back 1/2 hour to accommodate the celebrants other wedding beforehand, fine by me as suits better for the sunset time for pics. Seagulls happy to accommodate this too, they are so easy to deal with. Wishing you other ladies the best of days. Keep us posted on the big events, it is so exciting!!

We stayed at Seagulls 2 weeks ago for a friends wedding...the functions woman was helping out in the bar and had to be the most helpful person there. Just make sure they have smoked the outside areas ladies - I got eaten alive by sandflys from the mangroves on the Friday afternoon!

Thanks for that SC will take along a couple of those candles thingies in the nice buckets, forgot the name of it now and get them all the time!! Vonda is the ladies name and she is unreal, really, really nice. Was it a nice setup there?

That was it Vonda! She was lovelly. The other girls working (both Fri/Sat afternoons) were hopeless. Citronella candles - they are a marvel. They also had small smoke pots out on the Sat/Sun which also allevoiated theproblem. That said - still have bites two weeks later. Little bastards.

I went to a wedding at seagulls once and they did an awesome job! I was thinking about going there but my guest list was too big... I think they will look after you very well Kyjane :)

So what else do you Townsville girlies have left to organise?

Thanks Sas. Don't have too much else to do really but talk about it now!! I thought I was putting the ceremony back but FH tells me I had always said 4.30 pm, so confused?? :? Now I am thinking that maybe it was and I confused the celebrant too, poor woman. Too many things to remember. Think bout the only thing we have left to do is find a good hair person and BM is on to that too.

Sounds like you are very organised :) I can give you the number of the lady that did my hair if you like?

Have just changed our reception venue at the last minute from Magnetic Island Tropical Resort to a restaurant in horseshoe bay called Barefoot Art Food Wine. It looks just gorgeous from the pics on the website and i cant wait to actually see it in person in a few weeks time
