Hi Ladies, It has been ages since I have been on here but thought I would see how everyone else was going with their wedding plans.
I've got just over 3 months to go and have organised everything but my flowers and my back up wedding dress should I still be pregnant on the day.

I got great news the other day that I dont have to share my wedding location with another bride. I was really angry when I found out they had booked someone elses wedding for the mornig of our day considering we hadn't given then a time and they booked us the whole day. Not sure why the other bride Cancelled but it suita me fine! Its less stress on me organising decorations for the big day

Hi guys,
My wedding was yesterday and everything went mostly ok.
Botanical gardens was great - even had reasonable weather.
The Windjammer did really nice food - but I think it was a bit rude that they charged full price for a 4 month old who didn't even have anything to eat and two 2 year olds (we did let them know our numbers included these kids). Plus they didn't have some of the things we had asked for setup/done (even though they had said they would) - so I'd suggest if you have one there that you have someone else arranged to set everything up and don't tell them if there are little kids coming.

Thank you :-) The garden isn't very private, it's owned by an older couple who open it almost everyday of the year. It's called Avi Fauna & Flora and it's up Nierinna Road in Margate (it's actually on Burnaby Road but it's on the corner so you can see it pretty clearly from Nierinna). It's only $5 to visit and they have a dancing cockatoo called Charlie, he's so cute, you say "dance charlie" and he bobs his head down and spins around!

LOL about your mum! I bet she was excited when she was allowed to talk about it to you!

Hi there, how much was it at avi fauna and flora to hire out for your ceremony??

Hi Peaches,

I am getting married at Hatchers Manor in Richmond in January and their prices start at $27.00 for a four hour drinks package including beer, wine and soft drink and three course meals start at $49 for a 2 choice selection. Hope this helps. Real nice venue and they don't charge room hire fees like a lot of places do. :)

I am getting married in Tasmania (Hawley Beach).. and am desperately trying to find a photographer and or Videographer close by (so I guess in Devonport... I'm from QLD and know nothing about TAS  ) ... any recommendations.. at this point I'd settle with an amateur. :D

Hey Charliebanks,

I'm just in Ulverstone which is only a 10min drive from Devonport and I'm still to decide on a photographer but I have got a few names and numbers! I haven't met up with any yet but I'm happy to give you the details if you want to contact them!?! There's actually 1 that I know of that's actually from Port Sorell so that's nice and close to Hawley! Let me know!

Hi all :-)

Sorry to butt in on your conversations :-)

I'm heading down to Burnie for a few days work and thought this would be the best place to find out if anyone has any recs for a gym in the area? I'm just happy to go for a run on the treadmill.

I have a hire car, so I can drive to Ulverstone/Devonport.

Trying to keep up my fitness up whilst I'm away working. My wedding is less than 2 1/2 months away. Eeek!

Let me know!

Hi Peaches,

For the north of Tassie I'd suggest Wayne Enright Photography. He is based in Deloraine and has good prices. One of my friends had him as a photographer and their photos were wonderful.

For souther Tassie I'd suggest PMC photography. I've actually booked Paul to do our wedding. Great cheap package and great photos. Really nice couple are the photographers and easy going. By far the most economical we found and the best quality! We were a little worried that PMC were so cheap, but we have no worries after meeting with them and seeing some of their finished work.

Hope this helps in some way.

Thanks MrsW2be,

I met with Paul from PMC on Monday actually... thinking i might go with him too... not sure :|
Thanks for your help tho, when abouts are you getting married???
