Ok Canberra Brides, this is our chance to get together and talk about wedding planning in the Nation's Capital! (the big round-a-bout more like it!)

I'll start
wedding ceremony: St Francis Xavier Catholic Church Hall
reception: Lassiters at Gold Creek Tourist Resort, Federation Square
Photographer: Kelly Tunney
Makeup: Kate from Kiss and Makeup
Hair: my friend Kim!
Dress: from Angelic Inspirations, Gold Creek

Is that all? I'm sure there is more but I can't remember!

If anyone has any great reccomendations please share the love! :)

How did you guys go with Angelic Inspirations? I met them a few years ago and they seemed really lovely so I recommended them to a girl who was getting married and she came back with a negative story. I'd like to think it was the girl not them!!

Hi Hi,

Miss Coco and Szeretetta - I went to a reception at the Ainsley not long ago and it was fantastic!! Excellent choice!!

As fas as angelic goes - they were really good. They looked after my larger B/m without making her feel bad unlike Nouveau.

Have a good one,
L

Booked the hairdresser today! Angie at Matisse (I think I recommended her somewhere else).
FYI: Before I booked I checked how much wedding hair cost with my regular hairdresser. Wait for it... $140!!! :o
Matisse is $75.

I checked into having pics at the carousel and you can hire it out for 30-60mins for about $100 to get as many pics as you want. We had ours at LBG (near the James Cook Memorial) and also at the park in Civic (Glebe park?) across from Holy Grail.... that was where we got some of the most amazing pictures!
