What to wear when going wedding dress shopping

I m going wedding dress shopping tomorrow and I m a bit concerned with what I should wear? :S Do I wear something casual easy to take on and off like jeans and top or should I get a bit more dressed up? I m just a bit concerned if I wear jeans they will think I'm not a serious buyer? and will I be standing in my undies all day? haha. I would appreciate any other advice in regards to wedding dress shopping too eg wearing hair 'similar' to on the day? or taking high heels? I really have no idea what to do!? haha Thanks In Advance!

Something nice and easy.. even shorts and a tank top!!

You dont want to be dressed up, only to have to keep taking it off and putting it back on IYKWIM?? I went in jeans and a shirt and I never had a problem!!

Something easy to get in and out of
Wear skin coloured undies
If your looking at slinky styles I suggest some tummy suckers
Strapless bra
If your short, take a pair of heels. I went to one place that she suggested I should of brought a pair along because I was standing on my toes trying to get an idea of height if I was in shoes.
Don't wear makeup
Hair - I don't think matters, you don't have to buy a veil on the day
Wear antiperspirant. It can hot under those big dresses.
Go in with an open mind and try on styles the assistants suggest. It may not be a style you even considered, but they have been doing this a long time and honestly, dresses I didn't think I would like looked so awesome on!

I wore jeans and shirt and felt comfortable in them. The only bad thing was that I was in sneakers, not something easy to take off but only because I'm so used to wearing them and I forgot about wearing something easy to remove.

I wore clothes easy to get on and off. I did spend most of the time in my undies (and no bra) when I wasn't wearing a dress! It was a bit confronting at first, but I figured the assistants had seen heaps of people before in all shapes and sizes. Most of the shops I went into had shoes for you to wear, and most of the time I had to stand on a box!

I'd also suggest wearing no makeup - you'll have dresses over your head many times and you'll end up a mess (and probably have to wear a cloth over your head/face to protect the dresses if you do go in made up.

I wore jeans and a peasant blouse. I wore a new white bra with straps in, but also carried a strapless bra in my bag, and wore matching white bikini cut undies. In the end, I didn't need my strapless bra though, as most of the dresses I tried were a corset back and I didn't wear a bra at all with half of them. I did wear make-up as I felt like I wasn't dressy enough without it, but I didn't pack it on, just a little bit of colour on my eyes. I wore sandals on my feet, didn't need heels as all the shops had the little boxes you stand on for height.

And amber is right, I also spent a lot of time in my undies but no bra, which I hated at first but you get used to it pretty quickly.

My only tip is to wear nice underwear because you are going to be seen in them a lot! Lol!

I wore make up because I felt that I would hate what all dresses look like on with no make up on. However, all the dresses were huge on me so I was allowed to step into them instead of go over my head. The thing I regret most is that for the wedding I picked a strapless padded bra because I'm small chested but when trying on the dress I wore a tight, not padded strapless bra, which means my measurements for the bust area were taken as smaller than what it will be on the day
