white bridesmaid dress for bride

Postby gem0075 on Sat Oct 14, 2006 1:12 pm

Hi all,
As this is my second wedding, and is fairly casual, I am not looking for a big puffy dress. However, I would like white. I am thinking that the bridesmaids dresses would be better for me, am I able to order a bridesmaid dress but in white?

yes you can do that...you could probably also look at cocktail dresses - some which come in white...or a deb dress (but they can often be puffy as well)

i think some places may charge a little extra to get bm's dresses in white, though...

Check out Noni B or Mr K dress stockists (think DJ's & Myer sell them too). They have white bridesmaid/formal dresses that make gorgeous wedding dresses without trains.

I think thedolphin had one for her wedding dress.... have a look under show & tell.

Mr K's website is: http://www.mrk.com.au

My Bridesmaids dresses come in white.

It is the "$499 Satin Dress" and they have them at Simona stores and DJ's

You can definitely do that. You can do a google search for custom-made bridesmaid dress, you'll get a lot! :)

I'd recommend MrK and Raylia, they both do bridesmaid dresses you can get in white.

I know that Alfred Angelo has every dress on their site available in white or ivory. There are actually over 40 colours to choose from. I'm pretty sure Mr K has an 'ongoing bridesmaids' collection which comes in white too.

The place where I got my girls dresses from has heaps of 'debutant/second bride' dresses.
