Monograms

Postby Lisagrace on Tue Oct 03, 2006 1:27 pm

Who is having/using a monogram for their wedding?

I would like to have one to use on the OOS booklet/invites/menu's etc and have tried designing one myself in word which looks ok but I am interested in how others did their and how it looks!

For those of you who have one, did you do it yourself, get a friend to do it or pay someone online to design it?

I would love to have a monogram but the only way i can do it is if i use our surname as the centre instead of & as our initials would spell S&M

Lisagrace - I used a monogram that I made myself - it is on my invites etc...
You can see a picture of the invites in the show and tell section - you will also see a post where I give the website that shows a video on how to make a monogram using Microsoft Powerpoint - without it I would have been screwed cause I could not get anything to look good in word.

Here is the website again if you want:

Good luck! let me know how you went

Hi Lisagrace,

I designed a monogram for our invites - I did it in Microsoft Word by putting each letter in its own textbox and then moving them around to get them in the right spot. The font is Scriptina and I downloaded it from http://www.1001fonts.com
