Postby katy2331 on Sat Nov 18, 2006 8:01 pm

Hi Ladies,

am after some help & suggestions....

We are on teh hunt for groomsmen gifts for my FH's 4 groomsmen...

We wanted to get something different and original....

Fh suggested Cuff links but honestly only one of them would ever use them again.

They are all differnt - One is a Uni Student the other 3 work and like cars adn things...but wanted to try get something similar.

We are getting the bridesmaid a bathrobe with thier name embroided on (found the shop today at highpoint *thx to person on here who told me! i forget who it was, but awsome shop* -

So what did you get your GROOMSMAN?
Any ideas????

Thx in advance..

i got ours some nice leather wallets.
you could get them a wallet each of either a good quality brand, a surfy brand if they are young and trendy ie billabong, or you could get them a wallet which has an emblem/logo of their fave car branded on it maybe

We were not too sure on something we could get them that all 4 of them would like, so although it is not too original, we are going to get them beer mugs engraved and use them at the wedding.

Have you thought about personalised beer coolers. My FH received one from a wedding he was in and it had printed on it

I stole this from ** and **'s wedding
DATE

You can put their name and what role they were in the bridal party (best man etc). It is something they will all defianately use again. :D

We bought Maglite / Swiss Army knife sets from Peters of Kensington.

The boys didn't need cufflinks or beer steins or tie pins because they all have those from previous weddings so we went for something useful.

The ties they are wearing for the wedding are also a thankyou gift from us. Both of them have jobs where they need to wear ties regularly, and because we wanted them to match the BM's it made sense. They are wearing suits they already own. We showed the tie to one of the best men the other day and he loved it. 8)

Our bridal party socks are on special and is better than them turning up in exploreres or footy socks - the boxer shorts and some of the glasses are popular too
