I;m not such a fan of the sanitarium stuff... too processed for me
I'm not a huge fan of mock meats generally, but I LOVE the sanitarium fake mince! Might be because mince was the last "form" of meat I gave up. So good in a lasagna or spaghetti bolognese. I can only get it at Coles, the nearby Woolworths have a very slim vegetarian/health section.
Here are some things I make regularly:
Actually, tons of pasta - tomato, creamy, pesto, macaroni cheese, etc.
Baked Enchiladas (recipe is on taste.com.au)
Other mexican - tacos, nachos, etc. with either beans or occasionally the veggie delights mince
Lots of soups - potato and leek, pumpkin, minestrone, etc.
Shepherds pie (I've tried the veggie mince, lentils, kidney beans, etc. and I've found the best meat substitute for this is four-bean mix)
Baked potatos (so easy, and carnivores can put meat on them)
This is my favourite vegetarian coobook: http://www.murdochbooks.com.au/essveg.htm
. It's awesome and very much an everyday cookbook.
