Sunshine Coast Priest

Fri Sep 14, 2012 1:52 pm

Hi Everyone!
We are having our wedding at Boreen Point next year ( Sunshine Coast ) and I am trying to find out if there is a Priest around the local area who would perform our ceremony outside of a church at all?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi!
I am Catholic and my partner is Church of England....I guess Catholic preferably but really we don't mind, we'd just love to be married by a priest.
Thanks kindly!

Catholic priests do not often do weddings outside of church buildings. And I particularly doubt they would do so without knowing the couple from their parish. I think your best bet is to start attending and discuss it with the priest. Even if you attend a different parish, the recommendation is helpful.

The Uniting Church is very liberal and its ministers often perform weddings outside of churches.

Rev Kuchler from Maroochydore Uniting Church married us and he married us at a non denominational wedding chapel.
